A Lake Safety Committee has been formed to highlight National Safe Boating Week. Numerous meetings have been held and the Committee has put together a campaign to hopefully make us all a bit more aware of keeping our loved ones safe on our beautiful lake throughout the boating seasons going forward.
Information will soon be provided by our Shore Captains, some promotional items will be distributed and there will also be a raffle. Orange flags are in everyone’s future. The hope is that we can all be a bit more safety-aware and educate our guests as well. If we can prevent one tragedy, it will all be worth it. Stay tuned…….

The Lake Templene Improvement Board, not the LTPOA, is primarily responsible for maintaining the quality of the lake. The LTIB contracts with an outside firm to survey weed growth and treat areas where they find invasive species. While the LTPOA can focus their attention on areas where our members have seen problems, the contractor has the discretion to treat.
